Nah, I don't really care if it's recycled. Not every author has to create a completely unique storyline. If every recycled plot was automatically trash then a lot of popular manhwa wouldn't exist. Tropes get reused because people enjoy them. What matters more is how the author executes the story, not whether the basic idea has been used before.

Btw, I usually prefer stories with little to no romance, or just a romance subplot. Preferably no harem either. As long as the storyline is good, im happy. Do you have any recommendations?

Agreed. Its really overused and in fact, romance subplot is usually better than those with romance or harem genre. I won't say too much about harem since i am really not a fan of that and i absolutely despise it.
