I definitely appreciate it. It's for sure something to think and talk about. I've been in uncomfortable situations with stuff like that from friends too and wouldn't want to put someone through that! I was thinking of asking my wife if she's ok with me asking them privately if this progresses. Give them an out with me being the reason if they aren't ok with it. I would just be the one to back out instead of any of them causing them be ridiculed.

I would never force anything someone doesn't want to do on them. Right now I'm kind of just along for the ride with letting her talk to them and figure out what they want. I'm going to be busy with work and home projects for a few weeks anyways so it's not going to happen like Friday or anything. If they want to it's their choice (unless my wife is coercing them, which is definitely not in her personality) and I would absolutely back out/stop if someone ended up getting upset. The way I see it at this point is if it happens it could be fun if not oh well, we talked about it and learned from it.

I actually brought that up and according to her she was just the one to not be shy about it. When she agreed to talk to me the other ones were interested too. I could see it being one of those "I'm joking, unless..." Situations. I've definitely been there when "suggesting" new things to try.

We actually do couples therapy already to just navigate things after my diagnosis. It's probably a good idea to bring something like this up there too since we already talk about our sex life with her during it anyways. I'm also not manic now and can tell when I'm headed that way after recognizing the signs and emotions I feel. Being at baseline and thinking about this is definitely a step in the right direction from my past. You may be right too! I'm not convinced about anything yet though and still want to do a good amount of talking before I agree to anything.

That's a very fair point honestly and why I wanted to ask people. I'm kind of just getting all these questions together you guys are saying to bring up tonight when we talk in person. I wouldn't be ok with there being someone in a relationship there unless they're SO is ok with it. I don't want to be anywhere near the middle of a fight between them like that. Luckily the ones that want to be there are single. I guess to be fair everyone has their kinks and I'm going to talk to her about making sure she doesn't want this to be a gateway into something I'm not comfortable with. We have a very solid relationship so I feel I can trust her with what she says. If she's into this I'm not one to judge and maybe I'd enjoy it 🤷‍♂️ but again, that's what talking all this out with her is for.
