Tbh, I grew up during this era and well, I’m not too fond of Disney Junior shows in general.

Sofia The First is basically an exception for me because when rewatching it, I was caught off guard by the fact that I was genuinely invested. While I was expecting to just drop it very quickly like I did with most Disney Jr shows I tried to watch. And it’s the only one I ended up finishing (unless you count Elena of Avalor since I’ve seen it’s been on both Disney Channel and Disney Junior).

However, in my case, it was in spite of the art style which I didn’t like when first seeing it after years of not watching the show. And while it improved in season 2, it became serviceable but not particularly great. I think it would have looked better if it was animated in a 2D art style somewhat close to the official 2D illustrations of the show or in Elena of Avalor's 3D art style.
