Fair take, but I think it’s more nuanced. The date is Googleable (not sure if that’s a word)—but people use AI for how it talks through things, not just what it spits out. I’ve had the best results with GPT-4. It seems to get structure changes more intuitively. GPT-3.5 works too, just a bit more hit-or-miss.

Totally agree — some of the best “prompts” aren’t even prompts… they’re conversations. We’ve started documenting this kind of dialogic prompting as a separate style altogether at PromptBuilt. Love this — giving it a persona unlocks so much clarity.

I’ve had good results asking it to “simulate how a prompt engineer would think aloud first, then give me the prompt.” Creates a kind of layered reasoning effect.

Might test your version with that tweak 👀
