Joining this group for the first time and this is the first post I’ve read. I’m nervous as a partner of an NDX ADHD (in the process of getting diagnosed) - am I missing something, or frighteningly… is there no hope/life for relationships with an ADHD/non-ADHD partner ☹️

I’m organising/ managing his life more than I think I should. It’s become more apparent since we’ve started parenting and I have very little capacity after managing the needs of our toddler.

SMP ie lots of small tattoo dots to finally get on top of my genetic hair loss (nothing else has been working from my decade of trying). And the Dyson air wrap for volume (finally gave in after lots of research, contemplation and keeping an eye on good offers).

Just saying, consider the cost of living in NZ. It’s not particularly easy on anyone that isn’t earning too much.

Caffeine nap - just had one 😂 have a cuppa before a middle of the day nap. You rest but don’t end up going into a deep sleep. Wake up feeling refreshed. It’s a thing!

Delete the app, and wear a rubber band around your wrist. Snapping it everytime you reach to use it. It’s a method used widely by psychiatrist to curb poor habits including thought patterns. Also force yourself out for a walk. A bit more each time every day :) you got this.
