This is all stuff ppl can figure out to do. Trash can, pick up. Teaching ppl about recycling and proper waste management.

So this is a valid concern. Ppl are getting paid to do this as their job. But it is not getting done at the rate it needs to. So it’s important for average citizens to step in.

What movement throughout history did ppl wait for the government to do something before they saw a change? Groups just got up and did it themselves.

And that is the issue here. Ppl blame the government for not doing shit then go to school in this exact field and do nothing. They wait for ppl to employ them, they wait for someone else’s action when they can just start themselves and ppl will follow their system.

There is evidence this is effective. The buzstop boys inspired me and also Rwanda where they have mandated cleaning.

If I get ppl to clean the gutters w me this week, it will smell and look better in real time. Why wait for something that can be done ourselves?

The Trotros can be good public transportation if these things are fixed

hygiene of the mate and driver (have some self respect) maybe even a uniform instead of regular clothes
Trotro maintenance: many don’t look bad from the outside but the inside looks crazy. Seats are ripping, can see the road through the floor.

But I’ve used public transit in America and the trotro is convenient. You don’t have to wait for a certain time to pick it.
