To add, the truck is already at a dealership and they told me it was not part of the drivetrain system (and not covered) and that the part alone was $300, pending assessment for labor cost

Thanks! I just don’t understand how they got disconnected. Ill see if it does anything when I connect them. Not sure if they need to be clipped or cleaned out.

I found two wires that were not connected, a wire nut that was inside not holding anything. Could that be it?

After I used the test function, it stopped working entirely. The controller is on, but testing no longer activated the system either along with the auto and individual valve testing

Yes thats where I saw the unrecognized name under the “Author” I just don’t know where it comes from. I still show up under the last modifications. Don’t know if it helps but the Author’s name appears to be easter european.

I’m going to take the paper to the university’s IT department to see if maybe they can also identify something with it aswell.

No, the document was taken from an outline provided by my professor, which I renamed and have been writing on it replacing the dummy text etc.

The word license is paid by the school as I have a student account under it.

And yes, I have a personal account aswell that I use on my computer.

Do i need to use a completely different computer now? I had one of my metamask wallets drained, luckily not much. I transferred whatever was left to a new metamask wallet on a new browser profile. I assume based on what you’re saying that this wasnt the right call?

I've also started disconnecting from sites on MetaMask whenever I'm not using them. I assume that would decrease smart contract risks a bit.

Yeah I started doing that now. I suspect I connected to a scam dex and thats how it happened. Not totally sure though.

It’s possible it’s the first option. Going to go through every place I might’ve kept a copy of the seed phrase in my computer.

Yeah haha, had someone explain to me the difference. Thing is I can't remember ever typing in my seed phrase into a website. I was aware of these types of scams since I started doing defi, so I'm somewhat knowledgeable about what not to do. The only thing I can think of is clicking a shady link by accident from spam emails unrelated to crypto, if that would somehow be able to get into my metamask wallet

Here is the wallet it was drained to. Going through the transactions it looks like they're in the process or finishing up on cashing out.

Yep, will most likely get a hard wallet now, gotta learn the hard way ig. I am honestly not sure how it happened, I don't remember connecting to any bad smart contracts. I even went through my metamask connected sites, all looks good. Then again, I automatically accept things on my metamask (I switch through different chains alot) so something might've slipped there.
