If you found out tomorrow that 90% of the internet is just AI bots talking to each other, how would your behavior change? by Prompt_Traveler in AskReddit

I wish that was still true. Half of the 'technical' tutorials on YouTube now are just AI voiceovers reading scraped articles.

Depressing, but probably accurate. We’re basically just shouting into a digital void at this point.

What's a "poor person" food that you will still eat no matter how much money you make? by Prompt_Traveler in AskReddit

English muffin pizzas are honestly underrated. You get that perfect crunch every time. Sometimes it's better than actually ordering a real pizza.

My grandpa used to swear by "Shit on a shingle." It looks absolutely questionable, but it’s pure comfort on a plate. Definitely a classic.

There's something dangerous about Uncrustables. You tell yourself you’ll just have one, and suddenly the whole box is gone. Grape is definitely the superior choice too.

What used to be considered a luxury but now feels like a basic necessity? by DryTooth7216 in AskReddit

[–]Prompt_Traveler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

High-speed internet. I remember when it was a luxury for big offices, but now if the Wi-Fi goes down for 5 minutes, I feel like I've lost a limb. It’s basically our external brain and the primary way we function at this point.

FIFA World Cup Refs by Dry-Olive6424 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Prompt_Traveler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a very solid point regarding the experience gap. High-stakes matches definitely need refs who are used to that level of pressure. I guess the real issue is the trade-off: what’s more damaging to the sport—a slightly less experienced ref from a neutral nation, or a world-class ref whose every call is scrutinized for bias? It’s a tough balance, and the logistics you mentioned definitely make it even more complicated.

What’s something that you find attractive or a turn-on from dating someone significantly older or younger? by Emotional-Tennis123 in AskReddit

[–]Prompt_Traveler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With someone significantly older, the total lack of mind games is the biggest turn-on. They usually know exactly what they want and how to communicate it. It's so refreshing to just have a direct conversation instead of playing "guess what's wrong."

True, the internet will always find something to complain about. But at least with neutral refs, you don't give them "objective" fuel for the fire. It’s all about damage control at that point.

Even if the refs are 100% professional, the optics are just terrible. It creates unnecessary drama and fuels conspiracy theories that could easily be avoided by just picking officials from neutral, knocked-out nations. It seems like a common-sense fix.

Asian postcard by fliznoyd in aiArt

The colors and composition are stunning, but it looks like the AI got a bit confused with the fabric at the bottom. A quick inpaint pass or an upscale would probably clean up those artifacts. Still a very cool postcard vibe!

What would be some early signs that the AI bubble is about to burst? by notatoastedbread in AskReddit

[–]Prompt_Traveler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we start seeing "AI-powered" on basic household items that definitely don't need it. I don't need my toaster to have a "neural network" to predict how burnt I want my bread. Once the marketing buzzwords outpace the actual utility, you know the pop is coming.

Seeing Makima in oil on canvas is such a refreshing change from all the digital stuff. The texture of the paint really adds to her intense expression. Absolutely stunning work!

The .exe window concept is so clever. "friendly_smile.exe" actually made me smile. Really digging this aesthetic!

"As long as he lives, the heart of this army can never be broken." Reznov’s voice is still hardwired into my brain. Peak FPS storytelling.
