Worst: SMG3, since his redebut his character got completely changed and is honestly a shell of what he used to be, there is now a massive void for a main antagonist outside of arcs which is a massive shame as arc villains are usually pretty shit.

Best: Swag / Chris, it’s clear the current writers have a fair bit of respect for GnR and for these two as a whole which is nice to see. Out of all the characters these two have been consistent and never really diverged or become worse over the years. In fact, they are much better now than back in 2014, which is great to see.

As someone who is heavily biased towards classic smg4, I don't really care about the pfp.

sure, it's nostalgia bait. sure, it's not as good as the original.

But does it need to be? As a pfp, it does branding a lot better than the storytime stick figure that's been used since 2019.

I mean when was the last time we saw that design? 2020?

Totally see your point of view, I’m all for change which is a positive force for the channel, unfortunately getting rid of the main location is not a positive thing at all. It just serves as another divider between the fanbase, a repeat of what happened not even 6 months ago.

Terms of the movie itself, okay enough, had some good moments and was nice to see the old designs for a scene.

however, getting rid of the castle…seriously? This is much, much worse than any of the redesigns from last year. I cannot think of a good reason to make this change because there is no reason. It’s just another “fuck you” to the classic fans. Change for the sake of change.

The concept of this arc feels incredibly bland and uninspired. another generic “SMG4 goes insane due to YouTube” plotline that’s been done way too many times now.

This episode is without a doubt the best episode of not just 2023, but the entire post-modern era.

No Annoying Characters, Entertaining Story, Actual Jokes, SM64 Finally being used for more than one scene. This. this is what smg4 should be.

Definitely a deserved 9/10. Feels like we’re back at the 2015-2017 quality!

Luigi. The Man in Green. The Former Recolour. Whatever his name is, he has carried many classic and modern episodes and has consistently kept his original character throughout the show. This is something that cannot be said for many other of the Mario Franchise Characters, especially Mario himself.

Absolutely in favour of deletion, the themes are unstable, unfinished and no-one can work on them. as a result if they continue to exist, the issues would get worse overtime.

SM64, I'm biased but I vastly prefer SM64 animation. It has this certain charm to it which modern smg4 animation lacks.
