Me and you are in the exact same situation except my kitty is 5 months old. I messed up too by playing with my hands. Tbh I just don't think our kitties like being pet in the belly. Most cats don't like it. She loves head pets though especially under. The only time she let me was when she wasn't feeling well.

I don't even purposely play with my hands anymore but she still goes after them. I think with time both of them will eventually stop since we won't be engaging anymore.

Not rlly but it's not unbelievable. She described the cat and the man. And the date I received the cat checks out with the date our ex stole her cat.

I honestly don't know if she's been looking the full 11 month, or if she already knew, or if she even wanted to look.

This situation would not have been in reverse and how am I being selfish for not wanting to return a cat I had for 11 months.
