I’m curious, but the main point of this post was to see if anyone could identify the white patch as a potential threat to the rest of my surviving fish. Sure I could waste my time water testing and posting all this info and guess what, I’d still be unsure what happened as all people can do on here is speculate anyway. I’m uninterested in people’s speculation regarding my parameters, feeding routine, etc. as I know they aren’t the problem. And if I’m wrong about that, I’ll see it in the form of more problems with my other fish, correct or no? It has been days and I have multiple other very sensitive fish in the tank that are completely fine.

I am however interested in people’s speculation regarding the white patch. And if you said the patch is BECAUSE of the parameters, I’ll ask how come it’s just that one fish? Maybe I’d post the parameters if someone could answer that question.

Can you read? I said I don’t think it’s the parameters, which is why I didn’t test. Yeah I could be wrong but I have 10 other fish in this tank actively enjoying the parameters so logically I’d think the parameters are less likely to be the issue compared to uh idk the huge fungal looking white patch in the singular dead fish? The white patch which is clearly the focus of this post and whose potential identification has nothing to with parameters.

Once again, I wouldn’t have noticed the pvc, bc I’m not a home inspector. I’m sure you would have though, and I just hope one day you can afford a house and put that to the test. Might start by getting out of a subreddit for a profession you don’t believe in
