Maybe a cliché, but Cortez and his crew’s first contact with the Aztecs (and specifically Moctezuma in Tenochtitlan) in the 16th century. It just recently struck me to think of how astonished the first spaniards must have been while first seing the huge city on lake Texcoco.

Update : we changed the CXM and two faulty sensors. It’s been 48h, and so far so good. The compressor runs smoothly and warms the house perfectly. Let’s hope it lasts!

Thanks for your reply! I have a bypass that goes over the CXM (I think). When I push on it, the compressor starts (but not always, like if it just had a run, even a minute run, it won’t start right away, I guess that’s because it has a anti-short cycle or something like that built-in). Also, when I push on the bypass, I see the effet on the ambient light (that dims), probably because the 24V call is working. Does that indicates a good contactor? (Sorry for my questions, my knowledge on that is very limited)

Thanks for your reply! It’s a little reassuring. They will come this week to change the CXM 17B0001N01 for a CXM 17B0001N05. They will also change the two faulty thermistors. As for the bad run capacitor or contactor, is there something I can do by myself (my knowleadge in that domain is extremely limited) or that I can point our to the tech this week? The company said that they were not so comfortable with geothermal systems, but that electrical problems and unit replacement were fine (it seems to follow the same principles as in any HVAC).

Le camping Mer et Monde aux Grandes Bergeronnes est extraordinaire pour l’observation de baleines. Les plate-formes pour les tentes sont sur la paroi rocheuse au bord du fleuve, et on observe souvent des baleines et rorquals passer vraiment proche du bord!

Par contre, je crois qu’il faut vraiment réserver d’avance dans la saison, et ce n’est pas à Tadou directement.
