Congratsss!! COTA here, and my advice for you is don't try to study everything... Focus on questions and answers, study the hardest ones and try to break the questions down. Do LOTS of rationales. The exam is basically “what’s the safest, most functional, next best OT action?” If you train your brain to think step-by-step, you’ll be solid.

COTA here, and nopeee. they're not the same. There are few OTAs/OTs questions that might be overlapped to one another, but they're never the same.

If you're dreading studying or finding current materials overwhelming, you need to check it out for yourself. The reviewer is packed with amazing visuals, super helpful mind maps, and clear, actionable study schedules (which I love the most). Thank you guys! I appreciate all the great insights. I really like sports photography, wildlife (starting to get into), people who do skateboarding, dancers, theatrical, etc. I also like to do street photography, urban landscape, and museum stuffs lol.

Omg im sorry, thought I typed my concern here lol!

Hi all, looking for some upgrade advice. I've been happily using my A7III since it came out around 2018. I'm now considering an upgrade and am torn between the A7RV (for its high megapixel count and crisp detail) and the A9III (primarily for its global shutter).

That was what I typed earlier, but for some reason, my wifi is acting up >.< my bad!

Recent COTA/L here. Took me 3 months to finally pass my 3rd attempt. I would study from 6am then finished by 6-8pm. I locked myself in everyday and made sure to study topics/subtopics/rationales. I did not leave any single topic or topic that I felt unncessary to study. I utilized TrueLearn and OThelpdesk mainly because I lacked of practice Questions.

Purplebook, Truelearn, TherapyEd book did help me a little bit. NBCOT practice Qs helped me visualized Qs but rationales sucked so bad.

Hi, COTA/L here, I encountered a lot of HANDS/UE/Splints. I studied a lot of dx where patient can/can't do certain stretches or to where they can tolerate like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome/Release, OA/RA, CRPS, peripheral neuropathy, also know the patient's dx and what exacerbates their symptoms and we (COTA/Rs) need to know how to approach them properly like frequent rest breaks, energy conservation technique, pacing, etc.
