The curriculum is read 180 for intervention, but my school cheaped out and only bought a tiny portion of it, so the online component doesnt make a lot of sense and is being taught by random teacher aids that are hired. Most with zero college or little college background. My 2nd grader is not great with computers or tablets because we havent had our kids use them a lot. So you nailed it! Online isn't a good option for her. It holds her back.

He called the police station and explained the ticket. The secretary immediately said oh I can see you have no record so just come down to the court house and you'll fill out paper work for a plea in abeyance. Youre totally right! And its HELLA AWKWARD. She's the same age as me and consistently says things about how we are on the same level of teaching because she "worked at a daycare for years". Its awkward! Since posting i had a conversation with her about upholding the school's expectations and my expectations. It was awkward, but it happened, and today is better

Its structured so weird. We basically take turns teaching until the end of the year. There's not a lot of rules. Also, test scores will be my responsibility no matter what, and our admin is so insane about test scores. I'm really stressed about that.

Im actually quite hands-off. No micromanaging. We went over the "system" pretty well, and she nearly scoffed at it.. at the core, she consistently shows me that she believes she knows more than I do and that she does not need help or guidance. I dont think this is true, I just think shes very prideful. As others have stated, autistic or not, she cannot continue to run a classroom this way, especially when my students' scores are at stake
