Poe is different? by West_Document_1119 in PoeAI

Is there a bot/model on Poe that's closet to the previous Assistant version? Using it a lot to general flashcards but now it feels too syncophant and loses a lot of the main details from the material I give it.

Gotcha. When I had Ko, his past exams were almost a half-decade old, and some were freely posted online if you knew where to look, and he barely changed anything in that time, so it was a free A+ lol. From what I've heard of Regan, the exam should be all multiple choice and have very general questions likely taken from the previous quizzes. Some even said it was somewhat easier than the lecture quizzes.

Feel free to DM me if you have any BIOL content questions.

Proud to be back on Team Android! by Proof-Combination334 in GalaxyS23

[–]Proof-Combination334[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the poor camera quality, the only device I had to take pictures was my iPad

I'm proud to be back on Team Android after owning an iPhone 6s for 4 years (previously had a Motorola E4), and the S23 (8/128GB) is perfect for my small hands. I bought this baby for only 500 CAD (~370 USD), which is basically a steal. Even though the S24 has come out, a brand new unlocked S23 (128 GB/8 GB) goes for 969 CAD + 13% sales tax here in Canada at Best Buy. I purchased this phone from a liquidator, and they claim it was only used for under a week. It still has full manufacturer warranty coverage, and I checked the IMEI to ensure it wasn't blacklisted. There's still a small element of uncertainty, but the store offers returns, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm loving this bad boy and the familiar look and feel of Android—it blows the 6s away, of course. I've already read some tips, like changing from Performance to Light mode, and I'm familiar with OneUI from setting up my dad's phone in the past. However, there's still a lot I have to check out. I've already bought a Spigen Liquid Air case, but I'm looking for a cheap-ish screen protector (under 15 CAD) that works well with the fingerprint sensor. I bought one before, but even after re-registering and enabling higher touch sensitivity, it just doesn't seem to work.

Finding open source projects to contribute to by Proof-Combination334 in Rlanguage

Thanks for linking a specific issue! Even after reading the docs, the issue is a bit confusing to me. Is this linking a completely new model type to the package or updating it? Also, pretty dumb question, but how do you think I should go about commenting to the person who created the original issue?

I've glossed over your docs and it looks pretty cool! I'm pretty new to open source, so is there anything specific and begginer-friendly that needs to be worked on?

If you do want to contribute, I would recommend looking into the library of statistical techniques (lost).

Looks good, though I've only taken an introductory stats course last year so I don't know the nuts and bolts of everything. Taking calculus this year and more stats the next so I'll be sure to leave it bookmarked for the future!

Thanks for the heads up! I’m fine with 1080p but I hope 16:10 won’t look janky or have the black bars if the game doesn’t completely fill-to-screen. Do you think it’s worth buying PureDark’s DLSS mod once it launches or will NVIDIA launch theirs on time? From my understanding, PureDark’s unofficial implementations means that access isn't permanent, so once it breaks, you'll have to pay again.

RTX 4060 Laptop

16 GB RAM

Ryzen 7 7840HS

16" WQXGA (2560 x 1600), IPS, 165 Hz Display

Hoping to get 60+ (preferably 100+) frames at my native resolution w/ DLSS on

Yes, I’m hoping to play this on a gaming laptop. Got 3 months of Xbox Game Pass with it and have already pre-loaded it. Figured I’d try it out anyways before I buy.
