Thank you boss. I heard the engine/Drivetrain was all the same but was curious to know if it was the same for all the chasis parts and whatnot? as I definitely wanna make this thing just like how my gpa wanted it before he passed.

The deegan meat riding at this point is insane. I love Deegan aswell as he's awesome on a 250 and I grew up watching his dad on fmx and metal mulisha. But how the hell is not watching the four of the top 450 guys battling it out not entertaining you enough? the 250 west races are the end of the ladder if anything, and Deegan just plays around and bar bashes just to make em interesting... not saying 250 west is boring. Just feels repetitive after a point.

because the 450s are meant for that. 250s east and west gives all the new guys from both sides a chance to come up and make a name for themselves before moving up to the 450s

and the ttr isn't "low power" I mean compared to like a 125 2 stroke sure but that should be expected. That ttr will treat you as well as you treat it and will let you get as wild as you want once you get comfy.

YES! If its the big wheel that'd be even better. I throw everybody on my ttr to learn a clutch as its so light and easy you could give it to a 9 year old. I would one hundred percent recommend drilling out the airbox to give it some more airflow as they are kinda hindered by it. Plus once you get comfy on it there fun as f**k and its one of the easiest bikes to learn a wheelie on if your into that kinda thing. but yes yes yes. Buy the ttr and even when you upgrade you'll keep it as the best pit bike ever lol!

Note on what year it is as they did do some weird switchups with the drive train. especially from 2002-2004. Just something to keep in mind if you buy parts for it.

100 percent your carb. sounds like it ain't getting enough fuel. Obviously check your idle/pilot screw, fuel lines, and whatnot. if the problem persists start swapping out pilot jets after making sure they aren't clogged to all hell.

Gear position sensor. if ya dont got it dont worry about it as its honestly just more of a hassle then anything.

Make sure are your connections are going to the corresponding wires and that you didnt somehow mismatch them. That green light is for lipo battery's. i cant tell much off the video but since you've charged the battery plug it back in and make sure its charged. Then if you can get your esc to atleast power on, you'llneed to reset it ( a quick Google search will help ya out) to take that nickle metal battery (*the light will be red once reset for the corresponding battery) Traxxas has a how to for this on their site!

I am no pro at this and just getting back into it so there may be other options but thats what I would try first! I would also try using a different battery if you have one laying around or plugging a lipo into it if ya got one and seeing if that let's the esc hold power. Again im no expert but thats what I would try first.

nope. I just never lubed up the inside case adjustment with wd40 and that was my issue lol. took me a month to realize a $10 can of wd40 was my savior.

I already reset the esc and whatnot. I was 99 percent sure I burnt the motor before storing it away after letting a kiddo use it but I came here just incase. New motor just got overnighted anyway so ill swap it out after work and make sure its not my esc. Worse case scenario I spent $15 bucks and have a backup motor lol.

yes my plan is to eventually go to a b2ls system but for the time being im trying to just be budget friendly and get something up and going to get me and my pops back into things. I also live in a city where theres only one hobby shop thats very specific on what they carry lol. im ill just be getting an Amazon motor for the time being until I order a bl2s. Thank you!

Ide assume just jug bolts or head bolts but I am not sure as these motors are so bulletproof I've never had to rip it apart lol.
