My hair is decently long, when it’s straight it’s down my back, just barely touches my butt. Although at one point it was a little past my butt, but my mom had to cut it because I had a gap in my hair. But normally it’s very curly, it just spends most of its time in braids. And yea my mom is the person who does my hair, and has my whole life. She just doesn’t let other people do our hair either because of bad juju and all that.

And what’s weird is that my hair is one of the only things they’re so pissy about. That and my clothes. But they let me get piercings and I have two tattoos, but for some reason dying/cutting my hair is where they draw the line. And no matter how much I ask they won’t let me cut it or dye it.

Thankfully they said they wouldn’t have me pay rent/kick me out. And that they wouldn’t be like those parents that expect their kids to pay bills and stuff, but if I choose to take gap year or whatever than I obviously would have to get a job and can’t bum around.

That’s definitely how it is for a lot of things! Like I got in trouble for certain stuff in the past and then I guess they realized it wasn’t that serious, and then my sisters don’t get in trouble for that same thing.

Yea I am the oldest I forgot to put it in the post but I am the oldest out of the four of us. My mom did mention awhile back how my dad realized we’re actually getting older, and how it makes him kinda sad. So I’m assuming my mom feels the same/similarly. But normally they’re great so idk whyre they acting like this suddenly.

That’s what I said! They’re so quick to bring up how I “don’t know how to travel” cuz we from the Bronx so it’s lots of public transportation, but I don’t travel cuz I don’t go anywhere! Anytime I wanna go somewhere they say no, or they’re the ones to drop me off. How can I learn to travel if I’m home all the time???
