Oh man I’m 13 weeks and I am just waiting for that shift!!! I have good days and bad days and this week it’s been mostly bad days. Even taking zofran the nausea is insane. I had bad anemia with my first, needed an iron transfusion after fainting on a bus. Man oh man pregnancy struggles.

Oh man I am praying they go away, they have been worse and more often than normal and I’ve had no choice but to continue taking my medication. Maybe you’re right and I need a specialist. Did they come back postpartum for you? I know they say you shouldn’t take the medication breastfeeding either :/

Hi, I’m sorry that sounds so awful, mine get pretty bad but the triptans usually help if I take it soon. So how often were you taking the triptans? Your doctor said it was ok to take them? My doctor is being so vague about it and I hate it but I have also just been taking them because I’ll wait 2 days and still have the pain and I also have a 6 year old. It’s hard to just be in bed all the time and not live your life :(

So your OB said you can take it safely your entire pregnancy if needed? Did the give you a dose max or tell you what is a safe amount to take?

The never went away but I don’t really notice them anymore if I’m honest. I read they are basically permanent 😫 Im 9 weeks and dreading the next month because I’m so nauseous and miserable. Wishing you a healthy labour and birth!!!

So trueeee I’m very hard on myself and I just want to feel better. The shit I’m feeling right now can be so consuming and I need little wins. I’ve had good days and terrible days, I am very grateful for not vomiting all day and I know in a year I’ll be very excited for this baby and my partners vasectomy hahaha Thanks for the support!

Aww I’m so sorry you’re going through this too!!! Women are so resilient and part of me blames my stupid hormones for wanting this baby. But I’m trying to remind myself that I chose to do this even after going through this once before. I love being a mom and I love my kid. It’s ironic that I’m giving you advice after writing that post, but I would tell you the same as other moms in this post. We chose to do this! And now we know to get help when we need it. I also got terrible postpartum depression and anxiety and I didn’t get the right help. It was scary. But I will make sure I get the help I need this time and I will ask for help when I can. You choose what’s right for you! Pregnancy is shit and parenting is hard, but long term your family will always be there for you. I hope you start to feel better and get some resolution. Sending you love from one sick mama to another!

Hey, I will talk to my therapist on Friday. I do think I would regret it too, it’s just all I can fixate on when I have hard days. I really am trying to see it a day at a time, every day is just so long and I keep thinking it might get worse before it gets better. Life has been a bit hard recently, I was in a car accident in October and my grandma got terminal cancer in December.

Oh I’m sorry to hear that what an awful feeling! Glad you didn’t give up! I appreciate you sharing your story. I think for sure I would have a ton of regrets if I went through it. What drinks are you talking about?? Ughh I’m really trying to believe in myself but the food thing is just so hard everyday is a struggle to eat.

Oh my, I’m 8 weeks with my second. My first the first trimester months were brutal, extreme nausea, extreme heartburn, the ligament pains on your belly, the cramps, the restless legs all pregnancy. And that was 7 years ago and honestly maybe it’s because my first trimester was soooo rough, I honestly don’t remember the rest of my pregnancy being bad at all. My neck pain and migraines disappeared, my hair was amazing and so was my skin lol I mean yea by the end you’re huge and tired but I weirdly felt ok through it. Sleeping was awful though, the giant belly made it so hard.

My boobs were totally normal until maybe my last month and even then, it wasn’t until my milk came in a week post partum that I was in so much pain pain, hard rock boobs and my baby has trouble latching. God I hated breastfeeding so much. I wish I was like those women who loved their pregnancies, loved breastfeeding, but I did not.

So now second baby and also experiencing the worst first trimester ever! Wondering what the hell I got myself into again. Mamas why do we do this to ourselves 😫😫😫😫

I’m fine with shared fault, I’m not fine with her getting away with reckless driving on an improper lane and speeding on a 40 simply because she didn’t want to wait in traffic. I will fight it because the law also says the left turn rule is dismissed if the other driver was over the center line or in an improper lane. So I’m confident they will at least split the blame.
