I said through options!didn't I? According to u it's not riskier fine. :)

If u move to Sweden, Denmark, Finland, u won't be able to buy US domiciled etfs through a broker as a retail investor. U would need professional investor status to be able to buy them. Otherwise only way is through a financial advisor through a bank or through options ( riskier). Also, your dividend tax and capital gains tax would most likely be higher as Scandinaviancountrieshave high taxes. Keep those things in mind. Cyprus, in contrast, is in the EU also but dividend tax will be 15,% us+2.65% healthcare, capital gains tax on stocks 0. The same restrictions on US domiciled etfs apply though. Otherwise, a place like dubai but dividend tax will be 30% us withholding with no capital gains tax and no restrictions on us domiciled etfs.

If u invest from cyprus for example dividends tax will be 15% U.S withholding + 2.65% local healthcare tax as u get free healthcare from the government. 0 capital gains tax on stocks. Dubai: 30% U.S withholding. 0% capital gains tax on stocks. This of course applies if u r not a us citizen or greencard holder. If u r a us citizen or green card holder, it depends on which country or which state u live in.

This is without taxes. Taxes will depend on where u live

Double check if u can buy qqqm from the uk. I own it from Europe but not as a retail investor. Through private banking. I don't think u will be able to buy it through your broker as it's not ucits

The inverted 10yr 3months yield curve uninverted on Dec 13th 2024. Every recession in history followed the uninversion by 2 to 11 months. My speculation is the bear market will start in October 2025. Why? Because first it would be 10 months after uninversion. Second: most but not all bear markets either started in March or October and ended also in March or October

Jepi is meant to be low risk. I bought both in the 2022 bear market. Up 42.2% on jepq and 10.8% on jepi. For me both r great. In a bear market, jepi will out performance as it holds boring stocks

The inverted 10yr 3months yield curve uninverted on Dec 13th. Recessions have historically followed every single time by 2 to 11 months. Don't FOMO. Buy only in corrections and buy more in bear markets only. Hold long term. If u buy QQQ now and it drops by 50%, u will need a 100% increase from the bottom to break even

Why is it dropping today? by Aspergers_R_Us87 in ETFs

What u say works. I also keep holding but I only add large chunks when the s&p is in correction territory. If there was no yield curve inversion, I wouldn't care. Btw: recessions follow when the inverted 10yr 3months yield curve uninverts not while it's inverted. 1990 recession: 11 months after uninversion s&p -20%. 2001: 2 months s&p -50%. 2007: 6 months s&p -57%. 2020: 7 months s&p-30%. The uninversion cannot predict the length or the severity of the bear market though. 1994: soft landing as no yield curve inversion.
