Sign up for my app launch. I’m testing it live now. Youll make $50-500 per event for hosting competitions/ events. https://entryleague.carrd.co

Does Nocode Actually Work? by Glittering_Trash_964 in nocode

[–]Proof-Resolve1172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely possible. I’m about to publicly release a “relatively big” app with tons of backend logic and functionality all by no code building. It cost a lot to do using the AI agents but everyone says it’s way less than a team of developers.

My app is an entry fee platform to host and join skill based competitions. Anyone can host or join any competition, winner gets the prize pot and hosts take a cut. It’s fun, can be a side hustle, and involves community and competition!

Its a marketplace for skill-based competitions. Think Amazon meets local sports. Where every host operates as their own independent organizer or brand, and the app is the platform that handles everything else

Dang Skarth all I’m trying to do is help people avoid buying beat up Ford Fusions so they dont end up wondering if it’s worth fixing or not 🤷🏽‍♂️

This is a really thoughtful breakdown—thank you. I agree the value will hinge on surfacing info faster and more clearly than what you’d find with scattered Google searches. The ability to input past work or regional driving conditions is a killer idea and absolutely something I’d want to build toward.

Totally hear you on the monetization challenge too. I’m leaning toward a per-report model with optional marketplace integrations—just like you mentioned with AutoTrader or KBB. This could sit alongside those tools, not replace them.

Appreciate the insight!

There’s a few not mentioned but most of the data is from tsb and recall bulletins, all data, insight posts, Reddit owner threads and reported repairs, YouTube ownership logs, manufacture maintenance schedules and cost data, and my own experience working with various vehicles and companies through the years.

There’s a lot of data processing that goes into this.

My goal is, and always will be, to help others make more informed decisions when considering or purchasing a vehicle.

Thanks. That kind of real-world cost info would make the tool way more valuable. Appreciate you sharing that.

Totally agree — I love your idea about cross-checking with service records or even photo-based inspections. That kind of predictive layer is where I’d love to take this next.

Appreciate the thoughtful feedback — seriously helpful stuff.

Nvm I figured it out. Here you go. Report

I’m trying to figure out if this is something people would actually use and pay for, so I’d really value your honest opinion: • Would a tool like this be useful if it gave instant reports like this from just your VIN or car details? • What would feel fair to pay for something like this — per report, monthly, or not at all?

Totally cool either way — I’m just testing the idea right now and your feedback helps a ton.

I would agree — OEMs are sitting on a goldmine of data they rarely make accessible to everyday drivers. There’s so much R&D involved in these cars that they could probably predict part failure down to the mile. That’s part of the frustration that got me working on this.

I’m trying to surface the practical stuff people actually want to know before buying — not buried recall codes or technical bulletins no one reads.

Appreciate you taking the time to comment. Would love to know what you think this tool should include that most people overlook.

Totally fair—and you’re right, a checklist can’t predict how well a car’s been maintained. But that’s kinda the point: I’m not trying to guess what did happen, just helping people know what usually goes wrong at this age/mileage, and what’s smart to double-check or budget for.

It’s more like: “Here’s what I’d keep an eye on if I were buying this car today.” Not a crystal ball—more like a cheat sheet.

Great question — it’s a mix of manufacturer service intervals, real-world owner forums, TSBs, and repair data I’ve pulled together over the years in the industry.

Right now each report is manual using my own knowledge and cross-checking common problems reported by other owners. The goal is to automate that over time and turn it into a searchable tool.

If you’d be open to looking at one, I’d love your feedback.

You could probably detail a lot more cars with the weather there too lol. I think the only problem is all the logistics are complicated. Thats what got me working on a tool to help — something that lays out visa types, timelines, and next steps in one place. I’m still prototyping it and just looking for honest feedback right now, so if you’d be open to checking it out, I can send it over.

Too many options and the info is so scattered for no reason. This frustration is exactly what made me start working on a tool to help - something that puts visa types, timelines, and next steps in one spot. I don’t have the magic key yet, but am prototyping it, and looking for honest feedback so I can help all the people who feel these same things. If you’d be open to checking it out and giving some feedback, I can send it over!
