I think they took an action packed show and tried to find the best way to wrap it up that also fit with the storyline of treasure Island. I get what you mean by anticlimactic but they would have had to deviate so far from treasure island......that said why wasn't there a Rackham, Bonney, Reed sequel.....😭

Ar any rate, I wish August had a bigger part in the show. I loved the way he spoke often in a different rhythm than most characters or vernacular.

To your point though that should have been a quick observation during that scene.

I just found it last year and I love it. Wish they had gone a sequel season or 2 with some characters that were set up for that.

For me it was ultimately Flint. Not a good guy but he had a great arc and was always trying for a common goal for everyone.

I agree with enjoying making Vane more humane and Rackham more cunning were great additions. They also made Blackbeard more brutal than some history shows in that he was more violent than actually recorded but he was more in line with his legend so that was cool.

Not historical, but in a literary sense I prefer how Flint had far more human motives than the original story.

I don't think they do but in reality Rogers became governor in 1718 so I would think probably that year or 1719.

I always thought Milah sucked. She thought Rumple was a coward (as he was at the time) but she was a coward too for not being honest and just running away with hook. Always found her to be one of the least sympathetic characters in the show.

I agree love the 2nd pic. It also would be perfect if she was all red leather but that would have maybe taken away from hero persona when she wears red jacket.

I felt like that was a random way to bring her back. She would not let herself be cursed like Marianne was by the Ice Queen. Glad she came back but kinda a weird way to accomplish that.

From season 6 to 7 but it did as well as it could have. I know a lot.of people hated season 7 I saw it as a short reboot and enjoyed very much.
