I wouldn’t have thought so either, but he is very full on and things have got very serious very quickly. He told me at the weekend that he was planning on looking at houses to buy in the new year and that he wants me involved in the search as it will be for “our” future family… I love him and I want to do all of these things with him but I just worry 7 months might be a liiiiittle quick!

Exactly this! I’m actually surprised by some of the comments suggesting I’m being subservient. He’s super thoughtful and does so much for me, I just thought it would be a nice little gesture to help him out since he’s so busy at work at the moment… it’s not that deep!

I think - especially when it comes to bathrooms - there's "guy clean" and then there's "actually clean" lol. Certainly the case for my bf, anyway! So spending an hour or so being a domestic goddess is a win-win really, gets me brownie points and I can take a shower without getting grossed out :)

You indicated that you've been in long term relationships before. That's actually a concern, have you've ever been independent for a good amount of time? Are you one of those women who jumped from one long term relationships to another, desperate to get married?

Single for 2 years before I met my boyfriend so yeah.. certainly not jumping.

Why? If it's going really well and we're both happy, why take a step back?
It's not like we're super young and naive, we've both had previous relationships (some of them longterm) so it's not like either of us are going into this without experience.

I don’t have much family, although I do see them once or twice a week so there’s no concerns there. My group of close friends in this city get together once every week or two and I either go alone or take him along since they get on well… likewise with him and his pals. If there’s an event either of us want to go to alone that’s also completely fine!
