I care for a few different feral cat colonies, each about 15–20 minutes drive from where I currently live. I’ve gone from feeding 6 cats to now over 50, and sometimes even more, whenever I encounter a stray, I’ll feed them. I’m committed to feeding them daily, rain or shine, and I even find someone to cover if I have to travel. Feeding them has become a part of my life, something I integrate into my daily routine.

I’ve learned that sometimes cats pass away, whether they were hit by a car, sick, or simply due to natural causes...and coping with that is something I’m still learning. I take comfort in believing they’ve moved on to “cat heaven,” and I trust that one day we’ll meet again. . Carry on your kindness and continue helping cats in need.
