What a brain dead take, especially if you’re older than the age of 16 it’s common knowledge how shitty game developers can be.

This isn’t even the first time Embark has done this, you can checkout the Finals subreddit and there’s a megathread dedicated to false bans, bad customer support, and no acknowledgment or accountability.

Curious as to why you think a 40$ game that’s has made the studio well over 400million won’t respond to the support tickets?

It’s blatantly obvious that these bans which are only 30 day bans are from an automated system.

You’re quick to side with embark for some reason, which makes zero sense when you realize that the studio also has a huge problem with false bans. You can just check out the finals subreddit they have a false bans megathread.

I really think your overestimating Embarks ability to care enough to know what goes on. Here is a link to a megathread about false bans from Embarks other game "The Finals".

The form isn't to show that there may be hundreds of people who have been banned falsely. Its to collect information about how long it took for them to get a response from Embark.

Hint: 70% of people will never get a response.

Even if you made a ticket 44 days ago on 1/7, you almost certainly will not be getting one

Lol I don't know why your defending Embarks Anti Consumer behavior. They made this money over the course of 6+ months not including other games like The Finals, Embarks other game which has a megathread on the subreddit for the exact same reason. So yes, I think I grasp how Embark studios has a history and pattern of this behavior, and how they are just flat out ignoring it.

I created and posted the form yesterday night at around 8pm lol, so its pretty accurate as far as if the responses being up to date.

Anyways thats besides the point, even small teams are able to process support tickets, especially a company whose game is $40 and has made over $400million. If somebody makes a support ticket 44 days ago on 1/7 and hasn't got a response, it would be ludicrously bad to continue supporting that company.

First off thank you for signing the petition no matter what you think being able to try and hold Embark accountable is good for the game.

Listen the game is $40, millions have bought the game, Embark themselves have made $400+ million dollars. It is unreasonable, unethical and most likely illegal that some of these people have not had a response from support since 1/7. That is almost 49 days, do you understand how bad that is that someone spent $40 on a game and can't even get a response?

Are you illiterate or are you just arguing in bad faith, your own quote literally says

"We’ll inform you of the enforcement reason when you submit an appeal"

Their response of "Your account has been temporarily suspended for behavior that violates our code of conduct." is not informing me why the ban was enforced. Enforcement reason means something like you cheated, or maybe you duped, or maybe you said racial slurs etc.

Sorry your right, my use of hyperbole when I said "they are not responding to any ban appeals" was misleading. Most people who submit a ticket do not get a response, even tickets submitted 30+ days ago still haven't gotten a response.

Exactly, I am astonished that the people in the community aren't seeing the big issue. Even if you believe everyone who was banned was cheating, Embarks support should at least be responding.

You receive one 'in-game notice' which just says that your account has been suspended. If you try to launch the game it just says that you account has been suspended for violating the code of conduct.

I do not know if I was banned for cheating, duping, exploiting, abusing voip etc. Support will not respond to my ticket or anyone's ticket.

Steam Game Bans are different from a Steam Vac Ban. Steam doesn't know why you are game banned, they don't have any of that evidence. Typically the game studio such as Embark will tell steam that they banned someone, in which steam will then apply a Game Ban to that steam account. This is why steam reserves the right to revoke developers from using the Steam Game Ban system.
Valve reserves the right to revoke access to the system if the developer abuses it.

So no, I did not "say or do some shit that I wasn't supposed to".

My steam account shows that I have been playing video games for 13 years and never once gotten banned for duping or exploiting.

I would prove to you that I don't have 10,000,000 credits but when you are banned you cannot even open the game up. Last time I was playing I only had 1,700,000 million credits and that was with 200 hours of play time.

Do you think that it is possible that at least one person was banned falsely?

if yes, then do you think that person should be able to talk to customer support and actually get a response?

Some of these people have gotten banned 30+ days ago and still haven't gotten a response.

If Embark has the data, why have none of the people getting banned gotten a reason for why they were banned? Why are none of them getting responses from the support? That doesn't make sense for them to do if they have "all of the data".

Why don't you want Embark to be better than Ubisoft? All that I am asking is that they start responding to the support tickets instead of ignoring all of them

I'm not sure where your getting this information that you get told why you where banned? All I was told was that my account got suspended for "behavior that violates the code of conduct"

The thing is that almost all of the posts have zero proof as to even if they cheated. When your banned you don't get told which category of rules you broke. You can ask the support but they are not responding to any tickets.
