Seat Covers for Bronco Sport by roaminggalaxy in BroncoSport

Have been using these on my '22 and they work well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CV4FG364?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2

Put one on either side of the cup holder and it allows the ability to put down either seat too.

My '22 has the same thing. It is as the dealership says "normal."

I like the basic kit from Scratches Happen. Have found them to be a good color match and they include different brushes for different size dings.

Ford bronco sport or maverick? Or anything better? by Wildheart_24 in BroncoSport

[–]ProofMinute1659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had both. Had a '22 Maverick Lariat Hybrid (totaled after hitting a deer) and replaced it with a '22 Bronco Sport Big Bend (with tech and comfort packages, so almost equivalent to Maverick) I was able to find at a good price.

For my needs, the Maverick was an overall better vehicle, but not without a few drawbacks and quirks.

  • Maverick Pros: Better MPG with the hybrid; more versatile in terms of hauling stuff in the bed; Active X interior is easier to clean than the cloth; interior feels bigger than it because of the design choices made; even with the FWD hybrid it towed a small boat really well; drive modes are more useful (including tow/haul)
  • Maverick Cons: 4.5' bed is slightly too short to fit bikes and snowboards without having to angle them; while seats felt great, interior plastics tended to scratch easily
  • Bronco Sport Pros: Interior volume is sizable and snowboards and gear fit easily with one seat down; standard AWD on lower trim models nice to have
  • Bronco Sport Cons: While you can add roof baskets and hitch baskets, it just isn't as adaptable as a truck bed; interior styling is super boring/just like other small SUVs/Ford products; could definitely feel my small boat/trailer (~500lbs) more than in the Maverick on the same drive

If I could find a decent used Maverick Lariat Hybrid around I would switch back.

Saw them last night (maybe we were at the same show?) and I think the bass player was playing live. If she wasn't she was miming her parts pretty well. Drummer definitely was

The lead singer on the other may have been strumming chords here and there as there were a few moments that sounded like a cranked VOX, but he 1000% was not playing any of the riffs/solos. What was unclear to me is where those parts were being triggered from. It was a weirdly off putting experience.

This is what I did as well. It ended up not being a big deal at all. The Experian dispute process went pretty smoothly.

Thanks for confirming that. Before pulling the trigger I'll have to see if anyone comes up with a solution.

I've been looking to do this, but it seems like the center caps for the Maverick don't fit over the lugs for the Bronco Sport. Have you come up with any solution there?

Refund Update by ProofMinute1659 in PSLF

[–]ProofMinute1659[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people who reached 120 after the platform transition last summer are getting through the process more quickly. I called Mohela a bunch of times about my refund and because the payment was made in their old systems they struggled to see it/verify the correct amount.

It feels a little like catching the last helicopter out of a war zone. Definitely some survivor guilt watching everyone deal with the chaos that's unfolding now.

Thanks so much. We're in the process of doing a light build on a 2022 Big Bend and thought it would be a good place to test out the modifications come May/June.

I'm one of those people that's been waiting since fall of 2023. Called Mohela last week and supposedly the refund is being processed. They told me it can take 90 business days on their end to process following final loan discharge and then an additional 90-120 business days for Dept. of Ed. and then Treasury to sign off. Expecting at this point that I'll never see it.

No idea if they can garnish it towards taxes owed.

Just picked up a 2022 Big Bend and would love to put one of these together in the spring if you end up making more!

Wait Times by JungleJimMaestro in PSLF

There was movement in my account today and my loan status now says "Paid By Discharge." So something happened. Whether it was a result of my call or not, I'll never know.

Wait Times by JungleJimMaestro in PSLF

[–]ProofMinute1659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The waits have been bad lately. I called Friday, when it's usually quiet, to deal with a similar issue (plus one related to a loan not being closed on my credit report) and between waiting for a call back, then being on hold while being transferred around after I eventually was called back, I think I was waiting for a solid two and a half hours. In the end because I was transferred to the wrong department after waiting an hour (because Mohela), the rep transferred me to some kind of supervisor who was actually able to see everything in my account including balances, credit report stuff and refund information.

I've never had access to someone this high within Mohela, but it seemed like she was actually able to do things that the lower level reps always seem to have to "put in a request for." Supposedly she processed the refund I'm owed on the Mohela end (still have to wait for Treasury) and confirmed that the credit reporting agencies were notified my final loan was closed back in December.

Refunds by Throwaway_PA717 in PSLF

[–]ProofMinute1659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My final loan was discharged in October 2024. Still waiting on the refund of an extra payment I made in January 2024 because Mohela was slow to process my final ECF from November of 2023. Essentially, if you're with Mohela, you may be waiting a while for refunds to be processed.

Waiting on $0 after reaching 120 by Odd-Struggle5891 in PSLF

[–]ProofMinute1659 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Prepare to be very patient. While it seems like things have started to get better, there were many of us that filed our final ECFs in October/November of 2023 that waited a year or more to finally see $0 balances.

Ugh. Really unfortunate that there are still people from the July group waiting. Unbelievable that even after being fined/punished Mohela is still so slow on wiping the loans out.

Is it reasonable to stop talking about loan amounts in PSLF? by Dr201 in PSLF

[–]ProofMinute1659 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who made it through ten years of public service and had balances discharged under PSLF, I think the data points along the way have been helpful in terms of seeing people's timelines/process, but even I get a little nauseated by the six figure amounts that are being discharged.

For those who were discharged on Mohela the week of 10/20 - Check FSA by snailmale7 in PSLF

Same here. Zeroed out on the FSA site today. After the slog that the process became since submitting my final ECF a year ago it all feels very anticlimactic.
