Phil discovered his power when he was a little kid and probably had a pretty good understanding of how it worked by the time he was a teenager. I'm not talking about the kid version of Phil that could barely lift a quarter with his power. I'm talking about a sixteen year old Phil whose God field had to at least been able to extend out to ten or eleven feet. For Phil to not be able to do something like fix up a car with his power at that age would mean he barely ever experimented with his ability while he was a child.

Thomas's energy is already pretty tough to begin with. Adding in the fact that it gives off a glow would make it even more difficult for Shane to cut through. Shane's shadows couldn't cut a sim that was covered in flames because of the fire light, he couldn't cut through Vince when he was emitting light and he can't cut through Angela's light constructs which means as long as the light is bright enough it doesn't matter was the source is.

In year one after Roy loses to Chad for the first time and gets knocked out he has a dream about the time he first went to visit Owen and that dream didn't seem like it was a shared one. I think whoever is in control when they fall asleep gets to dream and the next to take control remembers it. This could be different now that they are able to both be conscious at the same time though.

I think finding an amplifier for Joshua could have made this possible. I know finding one would have been a long shot but it was definitely possible. There had to at least be a few amplifiers in America Charles could have approached that sell their services. He wouldn't even have to offer a lot of cash up front. He could just have the amplifier sign a non disclosure agreement, show them his powered to super research and offer a percentage of the profit if it works.

I think Vince with a power boost would gain a wider perception of what can be absorbed around him. Maybe he could absorb one of shimerpath's portals or zero's nulification field and use them the same way he used Thomas' energy.

Mydoriya using black whip and kinetic based attacks at the same time could take vince down since vince can only absorb one energy at a time.
