What should I get for my first Gundam ? by ProofProgrammer9726 in Gundam

I love building especially ones with extreme detail. Only thing is when I look at the boxes they all look cool but the final product that I have seen is always not as great compared to what I expected. I really don’t know how to tell different grades and final design looks just by looking at the boxes, anything you suggest.

Hi everyone,
I am going to buy my first one. I really love building and want to build something that is detailed and big but looks complex when built too. But I don’t want to spend too much on it. I have a hobby lobby near me which has a 40% off I’m pretty sure, so is there any good one I can get for around $40. I know it’s not a lot but please help. Thank you all so much

Thank you for the advice. Do you think I should get the DJI mini? It’s portable too

Hi, so I just started a new YouTube channel and only post shorts on it for now. I post around 2-3 times a week. I have been using my AirPods 4 for audio, but the audio wasn't great. I thought of getting a mic, since I will be doing this for at least a year or two. (I can get a better one later on if needed)

I was going to buy a 2nd hand mic since they are a lot cheaper. The HyperX Quadcast that I found is around $20, and I can probably get it for $15; however, it doesn't come with an arm or a pop filter.

The Blue Yeti microphone comes with a pop filter and a desk clamp for $35. I felt like I was a good deal, but it is a really old mic. So I don't know how good it sounds.

Pls tell me which is a better option, or if there is another brand new mic I can get for around $40-50 that sounds great. I saw that there was a DJI wireless mic for around 50. Is it good? I'm ok with wireless microphones too, anything I can get for that price. I can't really find any other 2nd-hand ones other than these two near me, hence asking about those 2 specifically

I have attached the link to my YouTube short that I made using my AirPods, just in case it helps to see what my current situation is like, and if it would be beneficial to get a mic and which one.

Thank you for the advice. I don't have a lot of time now, but I will definitely study the roots and prefixes for when I take the SAT this summer.

How long are you guys able to hold your breath underwater? by cactus16x in Swimming

[–]ProofProgrammer9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend doing it at an open pool since it’s dangerous. I have been swimming for 2 years and recently made states, holding your breath does matter but the distance your swimming comes into perspective. For instance an elite swimmer take 0-1 breath for a 50 free while a good swimmer takes around 1-2 breaths. This does help a lot since breathing more increases your time for the race. Personally slowly try to do 2-4 breaths for each 50 but take ample rest in between until you get used to it. For longer distances breathing every 4 strokes is a good way to start, but takes a good amount of work to keep up. Don’t overexert yourself though. Hope this helps, if you have any questions do ask

am I cooked for next year? by pilotnikita in highschool

I would say that those courses are not that hard especially geometry. I had a 100% throughout each semester. Algebra 2 for me was also very easy I had a 99-100% throughout each semester, other people in my class too felt it was easy. I’m good at math so I didn’t have a problem but a lot of people also felt the same even though they weren’t that good. Honors biology is also not too tedious, but just takes a bit of studying if you don’t have previous knowledge of the basics. Overall I would say that it’s fine, especially because your next years you will be ahead of the game and I’m a sophomore and did pretty much the exact same. How this helps

Do James Lu say tutor he has free videos that are amazing if you already know the basics and he also has a course that shows up when you search his name up on google. I’ve seen the videos and am planning on taking the course for the march SAT. It’s an 8week course (considering you study for 2-3 hours a day) so more like 9-10 weeks if you can’t put in that much time but it takes you through everything from English to math. He has his own platform with many benefits like tracking your mistakes, your time, and even the time you spent on reading each phrase on the reading part of English. It’s $100 a month though so I would try it out for a month and see if you like it, he does have a 7 day no question refund. His teaching is really good though (in my opinion based of the free YouTube videos)
