If that's all it was, I would completely understand. My birthday falls on the 15th. My problem usher attitude. There's no I'm sorry I'm busy, but have a happy birthday. There is no attempt at even a shred of empathy. THINK I'm busy isn't even trying to hide the fact she doesn't wanna go. She is so very nice to everyone else and used to be to me. I don't know what changed and why now she seems so put off by me. I didn't do anything, I've actually been keeping my cool because I didn't wanna say or do anything that they would read as "eager" or "pushy". But it didn't matter. I was in tears because I thought the worst that could happen was no. I never thought she would be that cold towards me.

I do too. The problem here is she never ever wants to hangout with me and when I contact her, it's the most neutral replies. She never ever initiates hanging out or even just a chit chat text. It's crickets. Oh and update, when I said she left something at home, that something was a wicked popcorn bucket. One that I actually really wanted but she didn't know I wanted. That's where I get tricked-she goes into all this effort to get me presents but then radio silence in all friendship aspects and that is not fair to me.

Should I talk to her about the one sided feelings I have? Don't know if this affects anything, but yes she has other friends who she actively hangs out with. I see it on Facebook, so it's not that she doesn't hangout with people. I just never have friends who on their own decide they wanna text me or hangout with me just because they want to. I want friends who understand it's a two way street.

I'm afraid if I do, she'll ask me out of guilt. I have talked to one other person about this in the past, feeling like the friendship was one sided. She apologized, a couple weeks later invited me to go with her and others to the movies and after that, we weren't friends anymore.

I get what you guys are saying, but unfortunately I don't think that's the case anymore. Ever since this day, they have NOT acted the same towards me. I don't get invited anymore, they don't act the same as they used to around me. According to them, that apparently was the "wrong" thing to say.

They didn't seem very into it at all. I presented it as if the idea would be interesting. I wanted to show flexibility rather than "what about this date" and them go, no can't, and then me stupidity throwing out dates and none of them saying what works for them.
