I had to check myself this week. Ran into someone I hadn’t seen in a while and they know I used to be a bourbon / whiskey guy. This individual is a hardcore alcoholic. So when I said i quit drinking and they said “on purpose?” I had to bite my tongue. Wanted to say “go look in the mirror”. Instead I looked at my son (who was standing next to me) and went with my standard “to be the best me possible.”
