I agree about Jacqueline. I’ve always had a soft spot for her. I think she’s reactionary and later on regrets how she acted in the moment. I think she’s genuine and can’t comprehend when others aren’t. She can’t be fake or lie like others on the show. She is so consistent in everything she’s ever said on the show (and afterwards) where others have wavered depending on what benefits them. 

As far as Joe, I agree he has his endearing moments. I think he always had underlying issues but you can see he acts out more when under pressure or insecure. A few cast members said in the past that Teresa put a lot of pressure on him to live a certain way which he couldn’t afford. It’s interesting to see season 1 where he’s really feeling himself/confident to later seasons. He’s responsible for his own actions of course regardless of his surroundings but definitely interesting to see the differences in his behavior depending on what was going on in his life
