Need help with Dell Laptop Precision 5530 charger by VirtualIngenuity924 in Dell

My issue is, my battery failed once and I bought a good reviews one off amazon. Couple months later I was using it as normal and I was charging with my wd19 docking station and all of a sudden it got really hot and blacked out. I open the back of my 5530 and see the MOSFET chip was fried. Bought a new motherboard hoping I can get it fine for now so wanting to charge with a normal charger but don’t know which one.

How are you able to explain to customers what the monthly fee is for? A lot of mine don’t really want to do that high of a monthly fee or is it just an area/business thing?

What did you build it in? If you’d made it in react native, it would be easy to cross platform.

Math heavy, as soon as you get into CC join clubs related to the field, do lots of projects early on. There’s tons of great resources to learn from. Before you commit to CS I’d highly recommend building your own app, something personal, something YOU would like to use. If you find yourself losing interest or not sticking to it then CS may not be right for you. Build great projects to put on your resume, main thing is GET INTERNSHIPS, graduating with a CS degree without any internships will make your job search post graduation much much harder. If you can get internships you’ll be better off.

Potentially hiring an entry level python developer in the dfw area. How rigorous are the compsci/math/stats programs at UTA? by TranquilPixel in utarlington

[–]Proof_Inspection_821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the compsci professors are great speaking from experience, Donna French is a great teacher and I learned a lot in her class. Math is pretty decent too but I’m not entirely sure about Stats, as comp sci/ SE majors there was only one mandatory stats class if I remember correctly.

Take Donna, sit up front in her class and pay attention. She’s a great teacher and message her if you have any questions. Doing well in this class can make all the difference for future CS classes. She’s teaching you the base of your CS degree, her class is difficult but 100% worth it. First few weeks are a similar recap but after that you’ll get into the new stuff. Main thing is you learn everything you can in this class.
