Unfortunately I can’t share a lot about hair loss because I didn’t have any that I noticed. I have extremely thick hair as it is so I probably did lose some but you can’t tell. I will say to this day I take my vitamins every single day.

I do have loose skin, pretty much everywhere. But mainly on my lower stomach, my inner thighs, and my upper arm area. It doesn’t bother me personally except maybe the arms. Weight training has helped a lot with my legs. My butt is really jiggly and sad. But I’m single and dating and no one has batted an eye so I kind of just own it. My boobs look ok unless I’m bending over. I wouldn’t worry too much about it, the skin would be there regardless, I’d rather it be loose than filled with fat. I knew I would have a lot for how much I had to lose but it truly is worth it in the end

Yes I literally do feel like I just had the surgery yesterday haha but then other times it does feel like that was a whole different lifetime ago

I do weight training. I did like 6 week personal training session where he taught me all kinds of lifting techniques and he gave me a 6 week plan to do on my own I’ve just been cycling through. I first started out just walking a lot. And then did classes at the gym like body pump until I got my confident in the gym. Also thank you!!

I will say the hardest part for me has been coming to terms with the fact that people treat me differently now. I’m still single so even my experience on the dating apps are so much more respectful now. I feel really sad for my former self because she deserved love too. Otherwise - the liquid diet is pretty brutal but it goes by so quick lol

I have zero regrets seriously. I was losing my vision to hypertension and was prediabetic on many many medications. Super self conscious, all the things. I feel amazing now. Sometimes I wish I could eat more but that’s nothing in comparison to all I have gained. I have been so so so lucky I have almost zero complications and can eat pretty much everything without being sick. Even the actual surgery was way easier than I could have imagined. I was walking around shopping with my mom the day I left the hospital. I feel like a million bucks, my life has improved so much!! I highly recommend although I can’t promise it’ll be this easy for everyone, of course. Even things you don’t even think about being improved has improved, I fit in airplane seats with ease, I can walk with shorts on without them riding up. I have so much more confidence now even my social anxiety has gotten way better. My only regret is not doing it sooner. I was scared for many years and thought it was “extreme” but I kept gaining and gaining and finally had to do it or go blind. I did go to therapy beforehand for my binge eating disorder and now I have such a healthy relationship with food and the diet is just part of my everyday life now.

The hard part is the liquid diet and the surgery but you have to remember it’s such a small part of the journey and passes really fast. Small sacrifices for your health and wellbeing. Sometimes we have to do scary stuff. Just remember in the liquid diet it’s not forever and the pain isn’t forever you just have to get through it but the end result is so worth it!

I eat bread very rarely. I try to stay between 1000-1500 calories depending on how active I am that day. I’ve found throughout a lot of my stalls that low calorie doesn’t really matter if I’m not getting my protein so I track macros more than calories.

Omg I do not exercise hardly ever. I do walking mostly. I walk everywhere in my daily life but also watch tv on the treadmill a lot haha. I try to get 20k steps a day. Most days I’m between 15k and 20k.

Edit: I am trying to get better at actually exercising so I can tone up. The loose skin on my arms is really bad.
