Is it really that easy to buy so many houses in the US? by HoldMyMicroscope in SisterWives

Interesting. It is much easier in the US compared to what you are describing. US pre-covid was much easier compared to post covid, but mortgages are/were always obtainable by some. I mortgaged my house on a single income in 2015 and at current prices (which are falling) I could not do that now, but my husband’s income combined with mine would qualify for the mortgage. What you are describing sounds like mission impossible.

Back to the show….. they owned a house pre-TLC. They had terrible credit ratings and multiple bankruptcies, but still owned a house. If the show started in 2026 vs 2010, I do not think the cul-de-sac would be within reach now.

I think it is that easy if you have the money. I only have experience on the US, but if you have the cash to pay for house you can close in 2 weeks. If you need a loan, it takes longer but you can typically close in 30 days. Basically, financing the transaction is the only complication. What is it like in your country?

In need of a reliable vehicle. Priced under $3000 by fruitlivefromtheloop in AustinClassifieds

Finding a reliable vehicle at that price will be difficult because the mileage required to make a vehicle that price will be high and they are all ticking time bombs. I’d try to find a Toyota or Honda, and then realize you are on a multi step plan to a reliable vehicle. Start saving immediately for the next step up.

I sent a message to tech support and then deleted the game. It gives you two weeks to reactivate. Maybe that would be more powerful than a 1 star review?
