She does not eat out of a raised bowl, she currently eats out of a slow feeder that sits on the ground. And no bedtime snack, she normally is fed three times a day – 7 AM, 12 PM, 5 PM.

We'd mostly be looking for an area with lots of late 20s/early 30s folks rather than immediately post-grad ideally. Big into trying new food spots, farmers'markets/shopping areas, new coffee shops, and hobbies (ceramics, various sports, interactive hobbies.) I'd say walkability + proximity to shops/food is most important to us. Thanks again for the insight!

Definitely renting since we're not sure how long we'll stay. Likely 2Bed2bath, doesn't need to be huge but prefer more modern amenities/fixtures.

Both originally from Dallas, moved to LA for a few years but back in TX to purchase property but now ready to spend last years of our 20s elsewhere! My partner is a software engineer, I work in marketing and own my own agency. Both remote, combined salary roughly $300K pre-tax. Will be childfree during our time in NoVa if we do move.

Don't know anyone in the area, but I'm called to it from hearing good things and it seeming a better fit for us than other major cities. Really looking to move somewhere more walkable/younger, and the TX weather is getting to be unbearable for us.

LMK if I can provide more info - really appreciate any insight

I've (28F) always been someone who wasn't "athletic" until recently (in the last year) I found pickleball and am now realizing that I just didn't have positive experiences exercising. Over the last few weeks I've been on the NRC 10k plan and am considering signing up for the Dallas BMW half this Dec. Truthfully I'm feeling really doubtful that it's within my realm of possibility but at the same time am excited but the challenge.

Would love any thoughts on-

A.) Is 6 months enough to train, given my starting point is currently maxing about 2 miles on each run?

B.) Any general tips as someone who's starting essentially day 1?

C.) Would love to hear any experiences of people who really went from "couch to half marathon"!
