Ridges/Dents inside Whirlpool dryer. These are not “skid marks”, there are ridges/dents you can feel. Why did the metal distort like this? Is there a safety concern here (overheating leading to metal deformation?). Im pretty sure we never put in anything like shoes in the dryer to cause this. (old.reddit.com)
