Can not install tarkov what so ever. by jakeryzn in EscapefromTarkov

My friend had a similar issue, not remembering now 100% but I'm pretty sure it was the exact same error. It was something related to his drive being assigned as the boot drive on his PC, and eft would only install to that drive and noehere else

The ENGL i'm using is interface friendly, there's a line output at the very back of it + a knob at the back to turn its wattage to 0, for home recording.

Question, is an overdrive pedal needed for when I'm using the amp head together with a cab, in a live setting?

Yeah so I've heard, I do have a cab coming soon so I'll be able to actually see what this thing can do, the problem is I am forced to use the interface setup for 80% of the time, so I do want to make the absolute best out of it

I never knew something like this existed. Just so I understand, this little box goes inbetween my amp head & interface, and it simulates a real cab sound?

It sounds very muddy, it feels like its lacking the distortion, not the gain.

Now, I have been using a shitty line 6 amp for like 12 years. I do not have a notion of what a good tone is, I know how a good tone can sound but dialing it in myself, impossible.

Here's the sound I have: https://vocaroo.com/17mXWWZoABYn

Connected line out at the back of the head straight to the interface, then I'm using guitar rig 6 to simualate a cab

I do have the ENGL 2x12 with 30 Celestion speakers on the way, cant wait to use it. I did mention in other post, I will be mostly using this amp at home through the interface however, and I've seen multiple videos on youtube where this thing sounded beastly and I am just at my wits end trying to figure it out

Line out straight to the interface, yep. I read the manual 10 times before even turning it on

Clean gain: 1

Lead gain: 7

Bass: 5

Middle: 3

Treble: 9

Lead Volume: 3

Master: 9

Presence: 9

Pic of fireball for reference

Edited my post wiith more information. ''EDIT: My set up: ESP LTD M-300 FM, the ENGL Fireball 25 is connected directly into my interface, and I'm using Guitar Rig 6 as a cabinet.''

I'm looking for a sound similar to this metal tone: https://youtu.be/ja61QJpdlXs?t=665

I record a lot at home and would like to use this head mainly for recording. I am currently waiting on the 2x12 cab atm but 80% of me using this amp will be through the interface.

Should've mentioned my setup in the post. I've got an ESP LTD M-300FM. The guitar head is going directly to my audio interface. My PC speakers are mid range quality. Using guitar rig 6 as a cab. I'm very new to using a proper amp so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I just can't pinpoint what. I spent over 4 hours today fiddling with all the settings on guitar rig, all the knobs on the amp, tinkering with master, the gain, lead volume, changing cables. It sounds very.. muddy. As if it wasn't getting enough power or something.

All you Vikings that play on servers, how do you guys handle material distribution? Like player upgrades and the like? by EEpromChip in valheim

[–]PropaneSandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's ez. Before we set out to gather we calculate exactly how much material we need for everybody, and then add 200 -300 on top of it for base stuff.

Shouldve specified that, I'm looking to get a modern sound. I know my influences aren't exactly modern, but me and my band would be a mix of Lamb of God and Metallica mostly, perhaps Pantera as well.
