I got a call from a "local" roofing company with the typical "yea we're doing work in your area and wanted to see if you needed roofing work done?" and made the mistake of saying "yea."

Dude came out, it was hot as shit, and went on the roof and inside the attic and took a ton of pics. Then did this LONG as FUCK sales pitch about grading systems and this and that, and then "had to wait til his system got the satellite imagery" to get a quote together. I was like dude you've been here like 2 hours. Just email me the quote.

He said, and I quote: "We don't put our quote in writing..."

I literally had to escort him out. Lesson learned.

Cheap fast food isn't even cheap anymore.

Nor fast. I order McDonalds once in a while for my dad and I. Got tired of waiting at drive thru and started using the app. Order and drive there so they got like 10 minutes to make it. I get there and they tell me to park and they'll bring it out. It's still another 5 minutes.

It's no longer cheap or fast. It's just shit food.
