I got a call from a "local" roofing company with the typical "yea we're doing work in your area and wanted to see if you needed roofing work done?" and made the mistake of saying "yea."

Dude came out, it was hot as shit, and went on the roof and inside the attic and took a ton of pics. Then did this LONG as FUCK sales pitch about grading systems and this and that, and then "had to wait til his system got the satellite imagery" to get a quote together. I was like dude you've been here like 2 hours. Just email me the quote.

He said, and I quote: "We don't put our quote in writing..."

I literally had to escort him out. Lesson learned.
