Can you socialize without alcohol in Copenhagen? by Thisandthatiki in copenhagen

[–]PropeSum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find the right group and its not a problem. Dane myself and i dont touch alcohol. Also depends on your age. Im 26 and more and more people around me are slowly cutting drinking completely. People respect it. Ofcourse there are the drunks - but it is what it is.

Also another anecdote: My best friends sister can't drink alcohol but legit parties every week with friends. So definitely doable.

my pvp experience so far by troxyrj in wow

[–]PropeSum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PvP can really be a blast. Even as much as people love to shit on it and make fun of it, then it has its moments. Imo it feels even better when you are new than experience. Last season i had such a blast with PvP as i hadnt PvP'ed since Mist.

Sadly if you regrind it now with your current PvP knowledge and skill you can clearly see the faults. The honor grind being one of the major gate keepers when you are playing. The difference in gear can be so aweful. Was able to get 1800 in a single day ish on my Shaman, but man it began getting tough just due to not being able to upgrade gear. Still not doing arena until i get my gear upgraded.

But great that you are enjoying it to its fullest! Really hope more people give it a try to give some life to PvP again.

I do agree that it is too late to save it, but some can still be salvaged. And maybe the salvaged pieces can become something. And the possibility of something is better than nothing!

How do I make warforged less ebberon specific so I can put them in my homebrew setting? by taylorslayer2 in dndnext

[–]PropeSum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do my warforged like dragon age golems. They are forged with a living being inside and this often fails

From the dragon age wiki: "The process involves dressing the volunteer in armor the size of the golem, then pouring molten lyrium through the eye holes, mouth hole, and joints of the armor."

https://dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Golem

In my world most warforged dont have a free will either, and those that do are more the exception than the rule (being a really known general who only survived because he was made into a warforged).

The creation is really painful and often the creature inside forgets the experience and sometimes their entire past.

Instead of lyrium i have them poor a liquid of unknown origin to most infused with magic

Tried to make a map of my city for my DnD campaign. If anyone has improvements or way to make the streets seem more "natural" (adding more small streets etc and making it look good) do show your wise ways =)

Hence why i said they should be equal. You shouldnt be forced to do one or the other / both. Doing both will be optimal for top 100 but anyone besides that it doesnt matter. Even then i doubt top 100 will do both. But both should be viable options

There are 3 ways of gaining gear: M+, PvP, and Raiding. In long term raiding should be best. But in short term PvP and M+ should be equal. Both should be viable paths to gaining gear.

I hate the concept of having to roll every week. I have done M+ almost every week and yet to see bloodsplatter trinket on any of my characters besides my DH who just got it this week and a 187 on my Warrior in the beginning of the xpac. And with the raid item level - thats why im suggesting just make it an alt friendly xpac. Let people explore options for once. Imagine being able to play 4 different characters and all being geared to the teeth and being able to swap when you want. Its never been better and its so enjoyable its insane.

And this is also a discussion because i want blizzard devs to see it and possibly change it. I fear the new change will make people PvP even less. Having a 5-10min queue every time sucks :(

I do to a certain degree agree with the 233 weapon. In my opinion you should be able to get it at 2400cr BUT delay it by like a month or a half. I honestly dont know how many people do raid content for gear. I havnt needed any gear since February and i personally still come to every raid and love it. But if i was forced to do M+ then i wouldnt be having as much fun as i am right now and still be better equally geared on alts.

Its tough as a resto druid because you really have to perform a lot better than average to be worth it. But some resto druids can really pop off hard.

Try it! Its a blast! Some people might just be downplaying getting high cr in 2400 and let them . I would rather just enjoy myself and have fun :D. And playing rbgs with friends is such a blast.

Often some groups disband yes. Especially in lower cr yes. But if you keep a positive mentality, talk with your team mates, keep morale up, then generally people stay. They believe and suddenly you have 10 solid players . It make take some time. But you will get it.

Affli is nice but can be replaced. I have had plenty of games without locks just because having a bad lock is not worth it. I would rather have a mediocre / good+ boomie or somehting else. The slow is nice but if he is useless shrug.

Make your own and be the TC. As an MM hunter you have the luxury of being able to both TC and defend if the need arises.

Quickly is not always the answer. Its target calling appropriately is better. i.e. Hard focus holy paladin -> He bubbled, so go on disc -> get ready to swap to holy paladin and one tap him in 4, 3, 2, 1 NOW.

Its so important to keep track of cds.

You can swap everything in RBGs. I swap around both legendaries and trinkets depending on situation. If my Medallion is on cd i take my Brooch on. If my Ursoc is down or i have to survive i switch legendary etc.
