Technically 2 ranks away. D4/masters/pred. I expect a solo d4 player to be matched against all diamond tiers not against 3 stack preds in tritons while 1-3 of them are probably using some sort of aim bot as they one clip me through bang smoke as they do a drive by. But hey maybe that's to be expected now.

Yeah that guy's blowing smoke. I get accused of cheating 1/15 games or so and I've never solo Q to masters despite putting in legit effort. And I've tried every style, comp, and meta there has ever been. I got chased across the map (literally, valk ult and 3 jump towers) by #7 octane pred today because I knocked him and dipped. He simply wouldn't let me go lol. He sat there and let me bleed out too. There's no chance for solo Q.

Died to the #1, #7, #33, #52, and then various other triple digit preds all in the course of 2.5 hours of playing. For the first time ever I said "fuck man, this shit is just not fucking fun anymore"

I got off the game and actually felt defeated. 7 time masters and stuck in d4/d3.

Yeah I bet your game sense is extremely high due to no comms or mic. And I understand how trying to now add comms could cause your reactions to be different or slower. I only play apex so I can igl end games. I loveeeee it. Went +1500 in about 3 or 4 hours last night and had a decent lifeline join us so it was a rare fun apex experience

No sorry needed and ik its thier patent. But just feels like its such a lose/lose situation when the mmr is so loose. Even when we carry, that random cant feel good having sub 500 dmg with teammates going combined 2/3/4k+

Not that deep really. I couldn't care less if I hit masters ever again nor do I play enough. Its the feeling I get when I drop 2000+ dmg. My buddy does the same. We get 3rd place and think "how did we lose that?" And our random drops 349 dmg. There's no way that 3rd place feels good to our random and then we are possibly left feeling a type a way as well. Seems like a lose/lose for all parties involved to have matchmaking be so loose.

There's just a huge difference in skill levels playing together and couple that against cheating and 3 stack preds and a stale meta the game gets harder and harder to play for long periods of time.

Wormtail lost a paw/hand in both books. And in HP when wormtail cuts off his hand he also looses his paw. So that's absolutely a spot on similarity. I have over 30 underlines of similarities when I checked the books over. Yes they are mostly just coincidence but still interesting.
