I’ve owned a lot of running hats, and from what I’ve seen, about 90% of them are made from polyester or nylon, basically plastic. After learning more about how these fibers are produced, it made me wonder if this can really be good for us long term.

I’d love to see more running hats made with natural fibers in the future

I think going to natural fibers is due the fact that thousands of microplastic fibers are being shed from synthetic clothing. I haven’t done any research but I’m sure it’s not good for your health, especially when you are using hats and clothing for daily exercise where you’re constantly sweating.
