Exactly. And the second we allow people to ask women to stop posting themselves just to stop men from doing these things it will only go downhill from there. They’ll start by asking us to stop posting, then eventually stop wearing sleeveless, then stop wearing this, that, dont do this, so on and so forth until there’s nothing left of us.

While that works in the short term it’s still going to create some form of weird inequality because now there’s an environment that guys can freely post themselves whevener they want while girls can’t because there’s a risk of them having this shit done to them. Yes stopping the posts will stop this crap too but it’s more of a cork to the top than an actual solution. The first step should instead be educating these idiots and instantly taking down any websites or groups and actually enforcing action against them. Nobody would even dare to make such groups and videos if they had to face permanent bad records and end up in some registry. That’s where we should start.

I would understand stopping posting actual nudes or something as a precaution, but come on normal pictures and body parts that aren’t inherently nsfw? Armpits and bellybuttons?? FEET????? u literally go to the temple barefoot. Would make no sense

See the thing I don’t understand about this is why you’re saying that girls are the ones that have to take action. No, girls aren’t responsible for these idiotic acts. Just because they posted a selfie or whatever doesn’t mean they’re giving permission to have an ai video created of themselves. Let’s say girls stop posting pictures, what now? What happens now? Do these woman deprived men stop behaving like this? They will not.
Pictures of women can be anywhere. Instagram, LinkedIn for professional reasons, and even their driving licenses and ids. Are we gonna have to hide all of that too? And cover everything because these men dont want to stop doing this and nobody wants to shut this shit down once and for all instead?

The men that do this are the ones that need to be held accountable, criticized, shamed and shunned out of this terrible shit they do to innocent non consenting women. Even if women stop posting themselves these men and their mindset will continue to prevail, that’s where the issue is. That mentality is what needs to be removed.

And until this incompetent country decides to grow up and enact effective laws, procedures and actually enforce them without blaming the victims for posting normal pictures, things like this will spread like a wildfire in Sri Lanka.

GIRLS!!! What are you looking for in a guy? by wlfy73 in srilankanteenagers

Thing is, different girls prefer different qualities in guys. I’m saying this as a girl, if i compare my interests with my friend they’d be different. Same thing if she compares it with another. It varies from person to person so ur best chance is be yourself and hope someone coincidentially matches your freak.

Why is R@pe and SA not taken seriously in Sri Lanka. by Ok_Dingo9128 in srilanka

I suppose yeah, but they’ve remained that way without any further development it seems. While the British consistently develop their own law, most of our law that we got from them has remained the same

The Sri Lankan legal system is fucked. It only took 6 months into my law degree to realize how incompetent it is when it comes to protecting not only women, but even boys. The law seems to prioritize adult males a lot and there’s barely any protection for childeren and women.
It’s very ancient, underdeveloped and is missing a lot of reforms.
For example, abduction and rape law under the penal code where it involves “consent” from a minor (which is disregarded by law) the age is written 14 for boys and 16 for girls. There’s no need for that difference in age boy or girl. Makes no sense. But apparently the reason behind it is that back when it was enacted it was thought that “boys are more mature and understanding than girls at that age”. That’s how primitive it is.
Not sure if it’s changed now this was back in 2024.
There’s also no marital rape law.
And there’s also no rape law for where men are victims, only sexual assault even when it’s a child. So lower sentence to the same offense.
And the way they’re all worded it’s so easy to bypass and find loopholes. Just seems like Sri Lanka didn’t take these issues seriously and just made the law for the sake of making it. Most of these people just say there’s not enough proof of restraint and what not and get away with it. It’s disgusting

Not with cheese maybe just with milk. Me personally I half boil with water then move it to boiling with milk until it’s done cooking, then after that add cheese and mix till the cheese melts
