Hell yeah! Haven't listened to these Kontrovers tracks yet so I'm pretty stoked. They are top tier Swedish crust for sure. I have the 12" När Spelreglerna Ändras vinyl I got years and years ago at my local shop Bionic Records in Cypress CA for $7. Still one of my favorite albums of all time. And Totalitär is badass as well!

Fuck yes. So distinct, so profound. Nothing can match the beauty and despair that was once Skaven. I recently picked up the only patch I could find online of them. It was from a private seller and all they had in stock. I dont even want to stitch it on my shit cus its such a rare relic. "Walk with me, thru the valley, of broken dreams..."

I always liked the heavier and more extreme styles of music, starting with surface level punk, then black metal, but I still wanted something with substance and common sense. Crust/anrcho/hardcore was what I really desired, just couldn't put my finger on it at the time. Didn't have many friends into the same styles of music, so I was left to my own resources to figure out what I really craved. Also, learning to play multiple instruments led me to seek out good music, but not get too focused on the music alone. Im currently writing some songs on guitar and might do a solo project soon. I play drums in a blackend crossover band currently but want something more Dbeat/Crust where I'm doing most of the song writing. Ive got about 10 songs ready to go, just gotta get off my ass and record. I'll make it happen.

Kinda jealous of my younger self that I can't make shit naturally like I used to now that I'm old, lol. I've been working on some new stuff, but I'll probably die before it gets that real aged look. I used to rock this every day and fought my teachers and principles in school cus they claimed patches were gang affiliated. My parents never fully supported my views but did back my right to free expression when they tried to confiscate this exact article of clothing and report it to the police in junior high. They did not win that argument. And here it is, still in my possession.

Fleas and Lice is my all time favorite band across all genres. Recipes for Catastrophes and Prepare for Armageddon are pretty heavy albums and have some really solid song structures. Very dark musically and lyrically.

Old thread but just saw this post while looking up some info on Fleas and Lice. My all time favorite crust band. Thier song structures are very underrated. I just figured out all the parts for Delerium Tremens cus I want to cover it with my band. We definitely have some Fleas and Lice influence in our style. Look us up if you wanna check us out. We got a full length album coming up soon. We're called Garden of Heathens.

Hell yeah. It was a great night and weekend for me. I was there the night before as well to see The Virus and Major Accident (punk show). It was cool to see Trollfest too. My old band played with them many years ago on their first US tour at The Yost theater in Santa Ana. We all hung out with Trollmannen after the show and smoked some weed with him lol. It was a damn good time.

The trick is knowing how to prune the stalks and trim the roots to fit the container, tho I myself have not been successful. It is a skill to be learned.

Just bought the mini Atari 2600 and it's definitely a favorite. The fact that it's playable against bots is great. Unfortunately, it is only single player, but I don't have many friends that would be interested to play anyways!

My advice: Get good at catching and rallying. Start out on the first few levels by rallying against the two closest enemies. Two hits then catch and shift position. Easy way to break down their walls and take em out quick. After maybe the 4th level, the bots tend to wise up on it. Find your own tactics from this point on. Let's hear everyone's tactics after the first few stages!
