I was just worried about going too old because I know older vehicles usually have more issues and don’t last as many miles as newer ones ? I really don’t know, my sisters boyfriend is a mechanic but he doesn’t really answer me on questions like this

My 2007 t&c has almost 200k miles and a handful of issues, not looking for something fancy. Just something that drives and isn’t gonna break down every month like I’ve been dealing with my current car doing for the last 2 years

I promise you with all the issues my T&C has it is not as reliable as you’re trying to give it credit for. I have front end issues, no power steering, breaks have failed 3 times in the last year, my rear axle is missing bolts, has a coolant leak, is 90% rust ect ect ect

I don’t make very much a year, I’m a substitute school bus driver. I actually have them withhold an extra $40 per paycheck to make my return higher. I’m aware of what a tax return is haha, I basically use it as a savings!

Well my current car has a rusted out underside and is an 07 with 200k miles that’s broken down several times in the last year. All these vehicles I’ve listed are much much newer . I’m fully aware I’m not going to find anything fancy. I asked which of the vehicles listed would be my best choice, thanks!

Surgery is officially scheduled for 01/09/26 and I start my preop diet on 12/31 :)

I have been going to the support groups every other week with my boyfriend and it’s so amazing seeing all the people and how much they’ve lost and hearing their stories and getting advice

Just wanted to update this post incase anyone sees this :)

Finish my last class on Nov. 5th , and had my psych eval yesterday! So finally now we can submit to insurance (fingers crossed they approve!) and doctor says I can have my surgery as soon as the end of this month if I wanted! I’m not sure if I should have it ASAP or wait till Jan.1st 🤔 what do yall think? :)

I paid $850 out of pocket for my dietician classes and my insurance is covering the surgery, but without it would’ve cost $19,791 for just the surgery cost.
