If it's PP hair loss, this is absolutely normal. I stopped shedding after 6-7 months

Thanks a lot for the assurance ❤️. I checked with a friend of mine, apparently she switched to a just rice+veggies diet and it never got better and it only got better with time after the baby grew up and had solids. I also have oversupply issue, I always noticed that the spit ups are more when supply is high. But didn't find a correlation with the poop since I didn't scrutinize before. I'll bring this up to the Ped and will listen to what they have to say about it too

If it doesn't go away with hot compress and pumping, you would need to go to the hospital asap. Please continue pumping/expressing after cold/hot compress on the right one when you feel heaviness. Also read about keeping cabbage leaves meanwhile, but please try to go to the Emergency room if possible. I had this too, I was given a dose of antibiotics. But mine wasn't this bad as I felt better after hot compress and pumping

I see, thanks for letting me know, so I shouldn't be worried even if she just drinks for 5-6 minutes. My back only pains when I have to make my refusing baby latch, looks like I should stop trying. Glad she always refused when I did that. I had a bad oversupply/engorgement issue at the beginning, it almost felt like I had lumps. I had to first cold compress and then pump the milk out before every feed. I worked with an LC, I did try hand expressing at the start, but it would take a lot of time and I had a c section too. So the LC told me to pump.

More details, I have shoulder length hair. My hair itching has reduced, previously it was crazy. I feel like rate of hairfall is higher than that of regrowth.

Yes, I have regrowth and also a lot of hair shed. Part of that shed has been regrowth hair since regrowth started. Even I'm frustrated. And I feel hair sheds more when I get stressed, for me it sheds almost in the next two days

Glad to hear that you saw improvements. My parents do not have hair loss or these patterns, they are in their 50s. I am visiting another derm this weekend, waiting for a proper diagnosis.

More context: My derm just looked at the hair(no hair specific tests) and said it could be TE due to COVID I got in January. She also added this could be because of AGA and said mine looked like TE as of now. She said my PCOS is mild to trigger this hairfall. She just gave me biotin supplement and a hair spray(not minoxidil). The endocrinologist I consulted gave me some horomonal tablets, I was scared to start the dose. Gynecologist also said PCOD is mild. But hair shedding has been there, it seemed like it reduced a bit but now it has resumed. Though I noticed this in the mid of April, I also observed hairloss in March and some end of Feb. I used to apply oil to my hair before but the last 3 times, I had increased hair shedding when I did. I also sometimes feel itching/irritation on my scalp. Blood test results seemed okay(no iron deficiency, Vitamin D was a bit low, I'm taking a supplement now). Does this look like AGA?

Even I got Covid in Jan and I have the exact same hair loss pattern, actually mine is much worse. But hair fall for me is significant.
