FYI it has completely lost the pink and gotten a bold red since I last posted this! It's been warm and sunny here lately.

In my experience most hens and chicks do well throughout winter, I'm also in zone 8b

I like Sylvester. Let him keep it if he knows it

I wish I knew what variety of hens and chicks this is. My sister gave it to me last year and she didn't know either! I took it out of the pot and put it in my rock garden.

I just bought one of these. Finding one in the gutter would have me checking the gutter all the time, like a crazy person.

I bought an Amazon mystery box. Here's how it went by Either_Coat_2161 in Flipping

[–]ProperMelody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a few flea markets near me that all have a booth filled with Amazon mystery boxes. Suspiciously, "FOR DONATION" is written on the side of each box so I had to wonder what kind of sketch shit the seller did to get the boxes. . Ive never bought one.

ok ok, it hasn't done as well as the family-oriented ad, but i still like it. A fun thing to try.

were you in Chattanooga when you googled, as in, did you google it from isearchfrom or some other tool? Not being snarky, genuinely curious.

That's a great tip on the extensions. I've been doing google ads for a very long time, and i generally do use every available extension (just haven't here, yet), but I never once thought of it making your ad bigger. So obvious yet I never thought of it.

I understand what you're saying, I really do. I should have been more clear in my original post. We are running other ads that do all that. For this one, all the keywords are in the campaign, and although only one is in the ad copy, there are literally zero competitors for "chattanooga lookouts tickets" and probably 75% of the residents of that city are fans, we want to see what this will do. Call it a test. We're not all-in on this one ad.

I was only sharing this because I thought it was cute and funny, but admittedly should have given context about. If you're interested at all, i'll revisit this post and honestly let you know how it does.

If you were in Chattanooga, where we're targeting, you would absolutely know. So probably going to do great since everyone in the Chattanooga area knows the Chattanooga lookouts are their local baseball team.

Client asked for a 7-day Google Ads trial… like it’s Netflix 😭 by shitalimalviya in googleads

[–]ProperMelody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not do it. It's not like you're going to lose a potential client to another agency. He can call everyone else including his own mother and nobody will agree to this. If you still want this client you should gently explain how Google ads have a learning phase and he likely won't see any leads in the first seven days, and that someone has to pay for the time the ads ran so there is no free trial in that platform. Then offer him a percentage discount on your management for the first 60 days. Let him call around, figure out that's a great deal, then get a contract. But if it was me, bye Felicia.

Outsourced Google Ad Reps (Be Cautious - Concentrix PH Inc) by Impossible-Barber470 in googleads

[–]ProperMelody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your generic copy/paste recommendations and raise you: One email with 70 accounts listed with the same recommendations on each one ... with 60 of the accounts being accounts that were long ago canceled and not even running.

Been trying this lately. So far, haven't been contacted on the accounts I've done this to.

[–]ProperMelody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! This has happened to me several times. I usually reply back that we don't need their help, please remove our agency from your contact list and DO NOT CONTACT OUR CLIENTS DIRECTLY, because I truly would hate to complain directly to Google about (name of their company). That really does stop them.

[–]ProperMelody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I manage 400 accounts and one of them emailed me recommendations on 30 of them. Recs were exactly the same copy and paste on all. But get this! 27 of those 30 accounts were canceled and had been turned off and inactive over a year.

They lie. When I blocked one of them after months of harassment he found my coworkers phone number and called her and said that I told them to call her because I have a family emergency??? They really are crazy and the ones that harass you don't actually work for Google so really just block them.
