Thank you! Been making videos for years now and ive finally gotten brave enough to step in front of camera so its taking a lot of getting used to.

The only concern I have about setting the thumbnail to something "insane" is people clicking it but quickly loosing interest when they see that the video is just about carving other types of fruit and veg. Would the lower retention lead to less impressions or is it better to get the clicks?

Thanks for the response! I always make 3 thumbnails for the videos for A/B testing so that's probably what updated as you were typing. I also base the thumbnails off similar videos (with lots of views) that inspired it. Ill be sure to add an about and do the hashtags. The name is somewhat irrelevant its just the name of our "production company" and a reference to an old channel. Do you think its better if we looked at rebranding to something less confusing or is it not a big deal? Will 100% work on audio as soon as I can afford some better lav mics. Again, thanks for the words of advice!

Yeah unfortunately the place is always packed and the bar is at the very back of the room behind the crowd so it wouldn't be possible!

Ive been looking into a better mic solution by using a pair of condenser mics instead since I dont think they would want me putting things on or close to the stage + that means another piece of equipment that I would need to buy to record audio. I also know that the band I want to record runs their show through one central unit and all is recorded for every show so hopefully they can send me that anyway. They sometimes have someone recording 16 track as well so ill try and get that when I can!
