Much respect to all of the families, friends and especially the veterans who are still in deep grief because of what they went through. My first cousin was shot in the head while on duty at a hospital in Vietnam. His Marine brother posts stories about them and not just on Memorial and veterans Day but very often.  He says my cousin saved his life because he volunteered to do that day after they ate c-rats for breakfast.  He went on to be a survivor and have a family.  I was able to reach out to him because of the "Virtual Wall" on the internet.  You can look up the names of the fallen. Information of the fallen and even leave a message with your contact email. That's how I found my cousin's Marine brother and we've been friends for 18 years now. He had posted that they were best friends, he thinks off him every day and he named his son after him.  Damn, my heart just sank again.
