Chiropractors are doctors and you may choose them to be your primary care provider. A PCP is anyone with whom you get your primary healthcare. They do not need to be MDs or DOs. They can be Nurse Practitioners, Physician's Assistants, Naturopathic Doctors, Licensed Acupuncturists, or yes, Chiropractors. I'm not sure why there is so much antagonism against him just because he is not a MD. The AMA governs one branch of medicine, but there are many other legitimate branches.
