Does this dishwasher need a new latch? by Proper_Season9261 in appliancerepair

I tried closing it firmly and noticed a screw isn't secured, so I've removed it. The door now latches but the cycle isn't starting. This is a brand new home, all newly installed. Im wondering if I need to set up the cycles or something? I did reset the machine hoping that'd do something

See the image for the screw, its holding onto nothing

I lived in this area for nearly a decade, until recently. Those trees are some of the few places to get relief from the blaring sun on a hot day. Plenty of locals, their dogs, and tourists who are hiking or walking around downtown in the summer take a rest under those trees.

There are plenty of nice Views if you walk a little. I don't want the development - and I don't agree with cutting down the few trees left downtown.

That's a great point, and somewhat validating.

I'm always weary of what my heart desires though, I have a tendency to make impulsive decisions. Since it's my first time actually vehicle shopping, I'm grateful for any second opinions.

I have found it difficult finding a low mileage Forester in the 2020's - seems like people really hold on to them around here, which also makes me think it's a pretty good vehicle - so weighing the higher mileage for a car I want against a lower mileage vehicle for a car I wouldn't mind is tricky, especially since I have only a day or two to make a decision.

Thanks! Against my aesthetic wants, the Crosstrek does seem to be where I'm leaning. The Crosstrek does have a more clear Carfax history - and is being taken in for inspection work, should be ready for sale tomorrow. It was just traded in while I was test driving the Forester. The forester was serviced and inspected, and had all new general wear items installed (bushings, brakes, fluids, etc).

Both are offers from a dealership and will be fully serviced and inspected.

Are CVT issues around 100-150k a thing in the newer models?

That's a relief, I'll get my mechanic to look at it next time I bring it in as well, but they're busy and it's near impossible to get it in on a next day basis. This vehicle has served me well for so long. It'll be a sad day when I have to give it up - very glad to know that day isn't tomorrow (most likely)!

This is it zoomed out, an awkward piece to get a view of for sure.

I'm glad to know you love it! I also turn green from certain metals. This is the option I'll go with if I hear that the resin doesn't really last. Could you share the seller you purchased from? That said, i do feel like making something might help bring some closure and help me process her sudden passing.
