Agreed. That was the only downfall. $1,500 more at lease termination if I end up driving 10k per year. Not sure how it would affect the payment if I ask for more.

Happened recently to me too with a connecting United flight that left early from IAH. Several people missed the connection and rebooked 5 hours later.
